Our Founder

Nathan W. Halsey
Chairman & CEO Nathan began his career as a strategy consultant for one of the largest professional services firms in the world – Ernst & Young. After a successful tenure at Ernst & Young, Nathan followed his true passion – entrepreneurship.

In 2003, Nathan formed a boutique investment advisory firm that was the lead principal and management arm of three successful company launches over the following five years. Between 2003 and 2008, Nathan’s firm was responsible for investing over $140 million USD in successful oil & gas exploration projects, commercial real estate, and private equity investment opportunities in operating companies.

Beginning with the credit crisis of 2007 followed by the global recession in 2008, Nathan saw an immense opportunity to create a unique business model and organization to take advantage of investment opportunities that were arising due to illiquidity in the market place.

Specifically, Nathan put together a team of managers and financial analysts to look for mispriced assets in the oil & gas (energy) field that could be acquired and developed for future profits and gains.

The team spent 18 months identifying key operating partners and acquisition opportunities in the US marketplace and abroad. The reward for months of due diligence and seeking out the absolute finest managers and partners was the inside knowledge of opportunistic development and acquisition opportunities in the global energy sector.

Nathan formed MicroG2 International in June 2010 as a premier source for global insights into the lucrative oil & gas industry.

MicroG2’s unique business model provides individual investors with key knowledge previously only made available to institutional investors and the world’s wealthiest private investors.

Nathan received his BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Nathan and Kristin reside in Dallas, Texas and commute between the MicroG2 offices Dallas and Hong Kong. Nathan and Kristin are active members in their church and community, and continue to expand their global philanthropic causes through the Bonamour Foundation. Nathan and Kristin are the parents of three children, Preston, 1 year old, Hudson, 3 years old, and Jensen, 4 years old.

Prior to joining Nathan Halsey and founding MicroG2 International Limited, Damian specialized in operations and compensation consulting for companies undergoing process reorganization, as well as start-ups. During the years of consulting on strategic expansion and the organization of foreign operations internationally for Direct Selling companies, he founded GlobeNet Technologies and provided the vision for creating incentive compensation software that found deployment for over 100 Direct Selling companies as well as insurance and financial services companies such as State Farm, Firemans Fund, and Assurant Healthcare.

Damian serves as a Trustee of Community Interfaith Ministries, serving the greater Phoenix area, and is an Orthodox Christian Priest, helping with new missions in the Western Diocese of the Orthodox Church of America. He attended the U. S. Air Force Academy and earned a M. A. in Theology from Mt. Angel Benedictine Seminary.
